The Discussion Announce debut album “All The Pretty Flowers”

Artoffact Records unveiled "All The Pretty Flowers," the transformative debut album from The Discussion, arriving May 23, 2025 across vinyl, CD, and digital formats. Latest single "Blue Light" heralds this ambitious sonic journey, and can be found wherever you find your music. 

The Discussion emerges as the latest creative evolution from Laura Pleasants, known for her groundbreaking work with experimental metal architects Kylesa. This new venture charts bold territory, artfully weaving threads of classic post-punk and new wave through a contemporary prism, while exploring the deeper waters of gothic rock and dark romantic sensibilities.

The project finds its perfect collaborative match in producer Jason Corbett (ACTORS), whose work at Vancouver's JackKnife Sound has helped shape the album's textural landscapes. This artistic alliance feels predestined, as both artists share a deep understanding of how to honor genre traditions while pushing boldly into new sonic territories.
